CUBA, November 23, 2016. - The vice president of the Council of State, Gladys Bejerano Portela, accompanied by the interim Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marcelino Medina González, received in a solemn audience, on the morning of this Wednesday, November 23, Excmo Mr. Mohammed Fadel Khalaf, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait, who presented the Credentials that accredit him  as Ambassador of his country to the Republic of Cuba.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the mission chief deposited a wreath at the José Martí Monument, in Square of the revolution.

The distinguished audience that gathered at UWI Cave Hill Campus enjoyed the successful launch of the book "Tell My Mother I Gone to Cuba," an in-depth investigation of interesting stories about the Barbadian migration to Cuba in the early twentieth century. The additional merit of Dr. Sharon Marshall is to have brought valuable information to this literary work that invites the reader to feel like one of the residents of Baraguá, in Camaguûey.
