Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago attends the welcoming reception to  the National Folkloric Ensemble of Cuba.

Port of Spain, March 5. - The National Folkloric Group of Cuba began its work program in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago with a colorful and emotional welcome by its Trinidadian hosts, an event which included the presence of the Honorable Keith Rowley, Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, and two other Trinidadian ministers from the Portfolios of Commerce and Public Works. The Cuban cultural delegation, made up of 35 artists and directors of the laureate company, arrives in Trinidad and Tobago, invited by the "Success Laventille" Secondary School, located in one of the humblest regions of the Trinidadian capital, which has been promoting and leading a fruitful educational-cultural program which began in 2015 with the visit to Cuba of his musical band of Steel Pan, a national Trinidadian instrument. To achieve its objective, Success Laventille School has enjoyed the enthusiastic support of the Cuban Embassy in the Caribbean country and the Ministry of Education and the Trinidadian Chancellery, as well as the sponsorship of a diverse representation of public and private companies of the Caribbean country.

The Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Tehran called the other representatives of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples' Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), as well as members of the Iran-Venezuela Friendship Association, to pay a well-deserved tribute to Commander Hugo Chavez Frias on the fourth anniversary of his physical lost.

The staff of the Embassy of Cuba in Ghana, accompanied by a representation of the Cuban Medical Brigade in the country, participated in an familiar activity organized by members of the Association of Ghanaians Graduates in Cuba (ESBECAN), to celebrate the arrival of the 60 anniversary of the independence of Ghana. 

Copenhagen - The Cuban Embassy in Denmark held an event on March 3 to commemorate the 58th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution and pay tribute to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz. The event was attended by more than 100 friends of Cuba, including the ambassadors of South Africa and Benin in Denmark, Zindziswa Nobutho Mandela and Eusèbe Agbangla; diplomats from the Embassy of Venezuela; The Danish-Cuban Association of Friendship; members of the 3F trade union; from the communist parties and Cuban residents in Denmark.

Guyana, March 3nd, 2017. Valerie Alleyne Odle and Jhonson Alexandre, officials of the Office of the Assistant to General Secretary for Foreign and Community Affairs, received the Representative of Cuba to the Caribbean Community CARICOM, Ambassador Julio César González Marchante, in the headquarters of the organization.

Nairobi, March 2.Honorable Justin Muturi, President of the National Assembly of Kenya, received this morning the Ambassador of Cuba in this country, Ernesto Gómez Díaz, who paid him a courtesy call at the Kenyan Parliament.
