I bring to this Assembly the voice of the South, that of the “exploited and humiliated” to quote Che Guevara in this very room almost 60 years ago.

Diverse peoples with problems in common - as we have just confirmed in Havana, which was honored to host a summit of leaders and other high representatives of the Group of 77 and China, the most representative, broadly-based and diverse assemblage of nations in the multilateral sphere.

Cuban delegation from the Fisheries Research Center visits Norway

Oslo, September 14, 2023. A delegation from the Cuban Fisheries Research Center (CIP) visited Norway within the framework of the cooperation project “Production of marine fish fry in Cuba” which, under the auspices of the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD), promotes sustainable marine aquaculture in Cuba.

Cuban Ambassador exchanges with Director of Latin America and the Caribbean at the Norwegian Foreign Ministry

Oslo, September 13, 2023. The Cuban Ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, paid a new visit to the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. There she held a fruitful meeting with Anne Heidi Kvalsøren, director of the Section for Latin America and the Caribbean, and John Petter Opdahl, who is in charge of the desk of Cuba.

It was an excellent opportunity to review topics of common interest on the bilateral agenda, in line with the will of working together for the development of the relations existing between the two countries. (Embassy of Cuba in Norway)
