Friends of Cuba in Saint Lucia reject expansion of the Blockade
The Humanistic Solidarity Association (Saint Lucia – Cuba) issued a declaration of support for the “sister island of Cuba”, in which it expressed their concern because of the recent escalation of the Government of the United States against Cuba and in particular, their decision to apply Title III of the Helms-Burton Law which they call “archaic”, “draconian”, “imperialistic” and “prehistoric”. Embajador de Cuba en Santa Lucia visita localidad de Soufrière.
The Ambassador of Cuba in Saint Lucia, Alejandro Simancas, visited the district of Soufriere, located on the west coast of the island and one of its main population and economic centers. The Ambassador was received by Pius Gangardine, Mayor of Soufriere, with whom the bonds were established and confirmed of friendship, solidarity and cooperation, which characterize the bilateral relations.
The Park of Caribbean Heroes and Famous Citizens was opened in the Playa district of the Cuban capital
