Cuba rejects inclusion in US blacklist about human trafficking.

The US government this week included Cuba in its blacklist of countries that do not do enough to combat human trafficking, a measure that can lead to the imposition of coercive measures. The President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, denounced this accusation to which he catalogs of immoral, deceitful and perverse. He considers it a US slander that attacks Cuban medical collaboration, an example of solidarity, humanity and noble and legitimate cooperation among the countries of the South.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba visits Saint Lucia.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, Bruno Rodriguez, accomplished a visit to Saint Lucia between June 12 and 13, in which he meet the main authorities of the State and the Government of the Island. The Minister was received by His Excellency Sir Emmanuel Neville Cenac, Governor-General. At another time of his stay in Saint Lucia, Minister Bruno Rodriguez, exchanged with the Honorable Phillip Joseph Pierre, Opposition Leader, and former Prime Minister Honorable Dr. Kenny Davis Anthony. In addition, he had a pleasant meeting with Cuban cooperation workers, with whom he exchanged widely about the work they do in Saint Lucia, through which they contribute to the social development of this sister nation and ennoble the name of Cuba.

 

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba begins official visit to Saint Lucia

June 12, 2019.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, began an official visit to Santa Lucia on Wednesday afternoon. During his stay in this Caribbean nation, the Cuban Foreign Minister will hold meetings with the Prime Minister of Santa Lucia, Allen Chastanet, with the Governor General, Emmanuel Neville Cenac and other authorities.
