Presidents of Cuba and Algeria report results of meeting
The presidents of Algeria, Abdelmajid Tebboune, and Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, announced Thursday in Algiers the results of a meeting in which they agreed to boost economic, trade, financial and cooperation ties.
Speaking to the press after the meeting between the two heads of state at the Presidential Palace 'El Muradia', Tebboune told the media that it was decided to cancel the debt services and postpone their repayment to another time.

Overwhelming victory for Cuba at the UN: 185 countries vote against the blockade
United Nations, November 3 (RHC)-- Cuba celebrates Thursday a new victory in its struggle against the U.S. blockade, by achieving overwhelming support in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) for a resolution approved by 185 votes in favor, two against and two abstentions.
The two countries voting against the resolution were the United States and Israel. The two absentions were Ukraine and Brazil.
Cuba Appreciates Letter to Joe Biden by Former Regional Leaders
Cuban President and Communist Party Leader thanked former presidents and heads of government from Latin American and Caribbean nations for having addressed a letter to US President Joe Biden urging him to lift the over-60-year US economic, commercial and financial blockade of Cuba.
On his Twitter account (shorturl.at/begnT) , the Cuban head of state described the gesture as a friendship and honesty act that moved the Cuban people.
