Namibia, November 18th, 2021- Hon. Mrs. Sophia Shaningwa, Secretary General of SWAPO, Namibia's ruling party, condemned the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba, in a meeting with Aldo Luis Fuentes Acosta, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Cuban diplomatic representation.
Wellington, November 16. The Communist Party of Aotearoa (Te Nuku Mauī CPA) issued a declaration of support for Cuba, the text of which reads: “Te Nuku Mauī CPA congratulates Cuba as it opens up after a successful campaign against the coronavirus that has seen it become the only country to vaccinate all its citizens using domestically developed COVID-19 vaccines.

Oppose the United States government’s November 15 provocations against Cuba!
The Auckland Cuba Friendship Society condemns the United States government’s financing and organizing of groups within Cuba to hold provocative protests on November 15. These groups oppose Cuba’s socialist political system, and aim to destabilize it and restore capitalism to Cuba.
Namibia Cuba Friendship Association has welcomed the good news of the total reopening of the Cuban borders and we join our Cuban friends in celebrating the successes of the Cuban Scientist, those that have developed three vaccines, while other two vaccines are candidates against the novel coronavirus. 79.1% of the Cuban population have been fully vaccinated while 88.6% has received their first doses. Cuba is the first country of the world, which has started a vaccination campaign among children over two years of age.
Namibia, November 13th, 2021- Aldo Luis Fuentes Acosta, Chargé d'Affaires a.i of the Cuban Embassy in Namibia, received members of the Namibia-Cuba Friendship Association, led by Cecilia Muzile, its secretary general. The union leader Herbert Jauch, director of the Friendship Association with Venezuela, was also present.
Namibia, November 12th, 2021- Members of the different brigades of Cuban cooperation in Namibia and representatives of the Embassy of Cuba in that African country, led by Aldo Luis Fuentes Acosta, Charge d'Affaires a.i. from the island's diplomatic headquarters, held a dialogue with students and teachers from the “Fidel Castro Ruz” elementary school.
Mexico City, September 17. The Cuban President participated as a special guest in the celebrations for the independence of Mexico and held a friendly meeting with his counterpart Andrés Manuel López Obrador, whom he thanked for the traditional solidarity of Mexico and his repeated condemnation of the US blockade against Cuba.
Díaz-Canel also participated in the Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), which also spoke out against Washington's aggressive policy against the island.
Namibia, August 31st, 2021- H. E. Dr. Hage Geingob, President of the Republic of Namibia, condemned the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba, within the framework of the courtesy call payed to the African president by Sidenio Acosta, Ambassador of Cuba in Namibia.
