Cubans celebrate Africa Day in Pretoria
Pretoria, 25 May 2024 - The Cuban State Mission in South Africa celebrated the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between both countries and the 61st anniversary of Africa Day with a softball game today. Around 150 people attended, including members of the various brigades working in the country, Cuban residents, South African friends and the embassy staff.

Pretoria, 21 May 2024.- The South African Communist Party issued a strong statement reiterating its solidarity with the people and government of Cuba. It also condemns the US-led imperialist aggression against the island while calling on the US to remove Cuba from the arbitrary and unjust list of countries "sponsoring" terrorism by the State Department.

FOCUS condemns Cuba's continued inclusion on list of countries sponsoring terrorism
Pretoria, 20 May 2024.- The Friends of Cuba Society, FOCUS, condemned in a statement the island's continued inclusion on the State Department's spurious and unilateral list of countries sponsoring terrorism. The message refers to the statement recently published by the Cuban Foreign Ministry calling the US to remove Cuba from that list.
Cuba commemorates 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations with South Africa through postage stamp cancellation
Havana, May 17, 2024 - The commemorative cancellation of a postage stamp on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and South Africa took place this Friday morning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The ceremony was chaired by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gerardo Peñalver Portal.
