Cuban Embassy in Pretoria celebrated the 67th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution
Pretoria, January 1, 2026.- The staff of the Cuban Embassy in South Africa, together with Cuban collaborators working in the country, celebrated the 67th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution. In a family atmosphere, all comrades reiterated their commitment to defending the Revolution, the homeland, and our socialism. The Second Secretary Bryan Betancourt, dedicated some words to the Cuban Revolution, its history and leaders, and the challenges of the future, always confident in our victory.
Strengthening ties with the Kingdom of Lesotho
Pretoria, December 23, 2025.- The Cuban Ambassador to South Africa, Fakri Rodríguez Pinelo, welcomed the Director for Europe and the Americas of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations of the Kingdom of Lesotho, Tebogo Rakoloi, at the headquarters of the diplomatic mission. During the meeting, they reviewed the main issues in bilateral relations and advocated for the strengthening of ties.
Coordinating the commemoration of Commandante Fidel centenary in Cape Town

Among those leaders, the Commander-in-Chief of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, stands out as one of the most prominent figures of the 20th century.
