New graduates from Cuban universities return to St. Kitts and Nevis.

As every year, this weekend the ceremony for the graduation of new professionals took place, organized in St. Kitts by the Cuban Alumni Association, so that family and friends of these young people can be part of such a significant occasion. The event was chaired by the Governor General of the Federation, Dame Marcella Liburd and by the Foreign Minister, Right Honorable Dr. Denzil Douglas.

The US judicial authorities have decided to release Alexander Alazo, the individual who, on April 30, 2020, stood in the middle of the street and shot 32 rounds with a machine gun against the Cuban embassy in that country, at the moment when 7 persons stayed inside the building.

ICAP Friendship Medal awarded posthumously to Kennedy Earle Clarke

We dedicated this afternoon a special moment to honour Professor Earle Clarke, one of the most outstanding unconditional friend of Cuba. It was a very emotional posthumous tribute, in which his family received on his behalf the Friendship Medal awarded by the ICAP, one of the highest distinctions that Cuba grants to those people who have historically maintained such close ties with our country, for their constant work of solidarity in defense of our sovereignty and independence, and for strengthening the relations of friendship and fraternity between our peoples
