Harare, August 28, 2025 – The Cuban Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Her Excellency Susellys Pérez Mesa, held a pleasant meeting today with the Apostolic Nuncio, Archbishop Janusz Stanisław Urbańczyk.

During the exchange, as part of the courtesy meetings between the Head of the Diplomatic Mission, Pérez Mesa and Urbańczyk talked about the history and bilateral relations between the antillean nation and the Holy See.

They also referred to the visits of the Supreme Pontiffs to the caribbean country.

Bindura, Zimbabwe, June 19, 2025 – The Vice-Chancellor of the Bindura University of Science Education, Professor Eddie Mwenje, received the Cuban Ambassador, Her Excellency Susellys Pérez Mesa, at the center, which has become a hub for bilateral educational cooperation.

Mwenje praised the contributions of the Cuban PhDs working at the University of Science Education and their contributions to the training of professionals, identifying new areas for collaboration.

Harare, June 16, 2025 – The Cuban Embassy in Zimbabwe hosted students from two secondary schools in Harare and Gokwe for an academic exchange on the consequences of the unilateral coercive measures imposed against both countries. Harare, June 12, 2025 – The Cuban Ambassador, Her Excellency Ms. Susellys Pérez Mesa, visited the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ) today, following up on bilateral actions following the recent visit to the Caribbean island by the Minister of Health, the Honorable Dr. Douglas Mombeshora. The Head of the Diplomatic Mission spoke with the Acting Director of MCAZ, Dr. Zivanai Makoni, about the possibilities for cooperation with the Cuban Center for the State Control of Medicines, Equipment, and Medical Devices (CECMED).
