Kigali. On the night of November 20, Rwandan Prime Minister Édouard Ngirente hosted Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdés Mesa.
The meeting with the Rwandan executive leader allowed for an in-depth exchange on the achievements and challenges of both countries on the path to building prosperous, inclusive societies with high social justice.
The Cuban leader highlighted the economic results of the African country and the interest that this example of economic and social progress arouses for Cuba.

Kigali. As part of the official program of Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdés Mesa, he visited the headquarters of the Rwandan presidency where he was received by His Excellency Paul Kagame, president of the Republic of Rwanda.
The Cuban leader conveyed greetings from President Miguel Diaz-Canel, thanked him for his presence in Cuba during the G-77+China Summit held in Havana last September, and pointed out that this visit was part of the actions that demonstrate the decision to strengthen political relations and promote bilateral cooperation between both countries.

During the warm welcome offered by the leadership of the Senate, an official invitation from the president of the National Assembly of Cuba was extended to his Rwandan counterpart to visit Cuba.
Both parties ratified interest in strengthening relations between both legislative bodies and contributing to promoting bilateral cooperation between Cuba and Rwanda.

Accompanied by Foreign Minister Vicent Biruta, the Cuban leader paid tribute on behalf of the Cuban government and people.
