Press Release: Cuban experts support the international access to geospatial information for the national decision makers.

New York, 3rd, August, 2017. Cándido A. Regalado Gómez, Head of the National Office for Geodesy and Cartography; during the session of August 3rd  in the framework of the 7th Session of the United Nations Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM) pointed out that the creation of fundamental data source, which connect geospatial and statistical information in different domains, should run parallel with the work related to the strengthening and diffusion of methods, technologies and standards.

New York, 3 August 2017. At the invitation of theMajor of the City of New York, Mr. Bill de Blasio, the Representatives of the Mission of Cuba to the United Nations, Ambassadors Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo and Ana Silvia Rodríguez Abascal, participated today in the reception “Harlem: Home Of Immigrants, Honoring New York’s International Diversity”, an event celebrating the friendship and cooperation ties between Harlem and Havana.
