Cuba re-elected vice president of the bureau of UN Special Committee on Decolonization.

Cuba was re-elected as vice president of the Bureau of the UN Special Committee on Decolonization, which confirms the renewed trust placed on the country, according to first vice minister of Foreign Affairs, Gerardo Peñalver. Ratified Cuba's decision not to give up its efforts to work to advance decolonization and to banish from international relations the scourge of colonialism.

US academics express interest in collaborating with Cuba.
