Cuba in UN

Cuba and United Nations assess the common agenda for sustainable development.

First Deputy Foreign Minister and Permanent Representative of Cuba to UN, Gerardo Peñalver, held a meeting with the UN Deputy Secretary General, Amina Mohammed. Both parties discussed the common agenda for sustainable development, the compliance with the 2030 Agenda, the UN role and Cuba´s chairmanship of the Group of 77 and China in the face of current challenges

Cuba will not give up and we will continue to resist and overcome.

Today, we are gathered here to honor the feat that would lead the Cuban people on the road to freedom. Precisely because of our history, the present and the future we are building, many in the world admire the Cuban Revolution, the indomitable resistance of our people in the face of external hostility and the work of justice and humanism that we defend.
