Saint George, July 14, 2022.- The Cuban Ambassador, Luis Ernesto Morejón Rodríguez, was received this morning by the Minister of State in charge of Youth and Sports, Ron Livingston Redhead.
At the headquarters of the Ministerial Complex, both discussed the current state of bilateral relations, as well as the mutual interest in continuing to develop and expand collaboration between the two nations.
St. George, 12 July 2022 - The Cuban Ambassador, Luis Ernesto Morejón Rodríguez, held a fruitful meeting with Dennis Cornwall, the new Minister of Infrastructure and Physical Development, Public Utilities, Civil Aviation and Transportation.
Cuba has signed agreement after agreement with the US for the orderly immigration of Cubans to the US over the years which the US never honors. Somehow they prefer the sensationalism associated with Cubans fleeing the country on rafts and floating devices at great risk to lives. They use this as a tool to paint the narrative that Cubans are fleeing in droves. If they allowed orderly immigration it would be no different from other countries with a different social system immigrating to the US just as Grenadians Trinidadians etc have done for decades.
REMARKS TO THE CUBAN CIVIL SOCIETY EXCLUDED FROM THE SUMMIT OF THE AMERICAS

Statement by the Revolutionary Government
Havana, June 6th, 2022.- The US Government, abusing its privilege of being the host country, decided at a very early stage to exclude Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua from the 9th Summit of the Americas to be held in the city of Los Angeles this month of June. It has refused to attend to the just claims of many governments to change that discriminatory and unacceptable stand.
