Prime Minister of Granada congratulates the Cuban Government and people on the 66th Anniversary of the Revolution.

St George January 7 - The Prime Minister of Grenada Honorable Dickon Mitchell sent a congratulatory message to President Miguel Díaz Canel on the occasion of the 66th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution.  His words were in recognition of the firm position that the Cuban Government and people have maintained in the face of innumerable challenges and international solidarity with countries that need medical assistance.

Medical Brigade in Granada dedicates its Scientific Day to Fidel.

St George, November 25. The Cuban Embassy in Granada welcomed thirty Cuban doctors and technicians who held their Scientific Day. In her opening remarks, Dr. Mabel Leon, Head of the Medical Brigade, said that the date of the event coincided with the 8th anniversary of the physical disappearance of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, as a way of honoring his legacy.

Cuba and Grenada sign cultural cooperation agreement.

St George, November 12. At the Head Office of the Ministerial Complex in Grenada, the Cuban Ambassador Ivette Martínez Leyva, representing the Minister of Culture of Cuba, and Senator Adrian Thomas, Minister of Tourism, Creative Economy and Culture of Grenada, signed the Cultural Cooperation Agreement between the two countries.

In her words of thanks, the diplomat emphasized the commitment to materialize a cooperation that implies a joint artistic training, which develops in citizens the necessary capacities to exercise or appreciate visual arts, music, dance and literature.

Cuba presents strategy for beach recovery in Grenada.

St George, October 21 - At the headquarters of the Ministry of Climate Resilience, Environment and Renewable Energy (CRE), the Cuban ambassador to Grenada, Ivette Martínez, was received by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Peron Johnson, to discuss the implementation paths of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the CRE and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment of Cuba.

Cuba in memory of Maurice Bishop International Airport.

St George, September 24. Amid announcements of takeoffs and landings but with the typical cordiality of airport officials, the Cuban Ambassador to Grenada Ivette Martinez along with Consul Alexander Quintana, were received by executives of Maurice Bishop International Airport (MBIA).
