Members of the Cuban State Mission donate blood in Jamaica to commemorate the Day of National Rebellion
Kingston, Jamaica, 24 July 2020. Inspired by the example of the young men that carried out the attacks on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks, some 40 members of the Cuban State Mission in Jamaica - including part of the Embassy’s staff and members of the Cuban Medical and Education brigades- joined in a massive blood donation this morning to support Jamaica's efforts to combat Covid-19 and to commemorate, with an altruistic gesture worthy of those killed in that feat, the 67th Anniversary of the Day of National Rebellion.
