Foreign Minister of Jamaica sends a congratulatory message to her Cuban counterpart on the commemoration of the 62nd Anniversary of the Revolution

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica, the Honourable Senator Kamina Johnson-Smith, sent the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, a congratulatory message to the Government and people of Cuba on the occasion of the 62nd Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution.

Jamaican radio praises Cuba’s international medical cooperation

By interviewing Cuban Ambassador to Jamaica, Inés Fors Fernández, the Jamaican radio echoed the important work carried out by Cuban health professionals and the international recognition of the dignity, professionalism and altruism of the more than 400 thousand Cuban health workers who, in 57 years, have completed missions in 164 nations.

Solidarity Movement with Cuba in Jamaica denounces anti-Cuban move within PAHO.

The Jamaica-Cuba Friendship Association has sent Dr. Carissa F. Etienne, Director General of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), a letter signed by 37 Jamaican citizens –most of them are professionals from the health sector- in which they express their rejection of PAHO's decision to carry out an external review of the organization's role in the “More Doctors” Program in Brazil between 2013 and 2018, as they consider that this action is part of the campaign orchestrated by the US government to try to discredit Cuba's international medical cooperation.
