The Solidarity Movement with Cuba in Jamaica celebrates the 94th anniversary of Fidel's birth (+VIDEO)

This Sunday, the Solidarity Movement with Cuba in Jamaica celebrated the 94th Anniversary of the birth of the Commander in Chief of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz. The wide, varied, virtual activity ̶ of a political and cultural type ̶ was attended by about 20 speakers, and the opportunity was taken to project videos about Fidel and his relationship with Jamaica and to enjoy the performance of prestigious artists.

Cuban Embassy in Jamaica celebrates Fidel's birthday

The collective of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Jamaica celebrated this Thursday the 94th anniversary of the birth of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz. The political-cultural-recreational activity was held at the Embassy´s headquarters by a small group of participants in observance of the measures adopted to control the spread of Covid-19.

Jamaica reaffirms its rejection of the blockade against Cuba

The Head of the Cuban State Mission in Jamaica, H.E Ambassador Inés Fors Fernández, was received yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica by Permanent Secretary, Ambassador Marcia Gilbert -Roberts.

During the meeting, which took place in a cordial and friendly atmosphere, the officials reviewed the main issues on the bilateral agenda and acknowledged the positive state of relations between the two nations.

Cuban healthcare professionals intensify their efforts to fight Covid-19 in Jamaica

Kingston, Jamaica, 5 August 2020. At the end of July, the contingent of Cuban doctors working in Jamaica reported a total of 49,838 consultations, deemed today as a notable increase in the joint efforts made to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
