Speech of H.E. Inés Fors Fernández on the occasion of the 43rd Founders Day Anniversary and Awards Ceremony, Jose Marti Technical High School, 10 January 2020.
Spanish Town, Jamaica, 10 de enero de 2020. The José Martí Technical High School, located at Spanish Town, celebrated the 43rd Founders Day Anniversary with the presence of its students, teachers and a delegation of graduates. The ceremony was also attended by officials from the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Jamaica, led by Ambassador Inés Fors Fernández, who was the Guest of Honour.

The Prime Minister of Jamaica, the Honorable Andrew Holness, extended congratulations to Cuba, on behalf of the Jamaican people and government, on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution. The Jamaican premier also recalled in his message that the collaboration between the two countries has fostered a mutually beneficial and constructive relationship over the years.
