That was the clamour, with one voice, of the more than 40 people who gathered yesterday afternoon on the premises of our Embassy in Jamaica, to celebrate Cuba's victory in its fight against the Covid-19 pandemic and the aggressions of the imperialism; the reopening of the country; and the beginning of the Teacher and Health Workers’ Forums.

The collective political leadership of LANDS reaffirms its support for the Cuban Revolution and solidarity against any imperialist-backed attempts at counter-revolution. Our stance comes mostly from a firm belief in the principles of self-determination, without which Democracy cannot exist and which is undermined by foreign interference.

The Jamaica Solidarity Movement with Cuba joins with progressive humanity, in condemning in the strongest possible way, the brazen and bare-faced attempt by the government of the United States of America and its mercenary allies both inside and outside of our sister country, to disrupt the constitutional and social order, with November 15th being the targeted date.
Kingston, Jamaica, 13 November 2021. The 15th National Scientific Forum of the Cuban Medical Mission in Jamaica was held today at the National Chest Hospital in Kingston.
From September through October, all 25 cooperation brigades carried out their basic scientific events. A total of thirteen scientific papers were selected for presentation in this national event, in the modalities of conferences and posters.

Today the Coordinator of the Cuban Education Brigade in Jamaica, Professor Reynel Isalgue, made a tour of the parishes of Clarendon and Saint Catherine, to exchange with teachers, members of the brigade, who teach Spanish and other subjects in schools in those regions.
During the visits, the Brigade Coordinator exchanged with teachers about the methodological preparation, the quality of the teaching-learning process and the techniques for an optimal use of the different digital platforms.
