Cubans in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines pay tribute to José Martí on the 173rd Anniversary of his birth
Kingstown, January 29, 2026 — In the year marking the centenary of the birth of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, Cubans residing in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, local authorities, Cuban collaborators, members of the SVG–Cuba Friendship Association, and representatives of the diplomatic mission of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela paid tribute to José Martí, National Hero of Cuba, on the occasion of the 173rd anniversary of his birth.
The commemoration took place in an atmosphere of deep respect and commitment to Martí’s legacy, highlighting the enduring relevance of his thought and example for present and future generations.
