Arrival of Cuban Engineers for the expansion and modernization project of Argyle International Airport.

Kingstown, September 15, 2025 — A team of five Cuban engineers arrived in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to join the expansion and modernization works at the Argyle International Airport (AIA).

The delegation, led by the director general of the Cuban Airports and Air Services Company (ECASA), Juan Carlos Quintana Gorina, was welcomed at the airport by AIA’s CEO, Josette Greaves, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry.

Football Federations of Cuba and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines advance in organizing friendly matches

Kingstown, September 3, 2025 - Cuban Ambassador to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry, held a meeting this Monday with the president of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation, Mr. Otashie Spring, to continue coordinating the organization of two friendly matches between the senior national teams of both countries.

Vincentians benefit from Cuban Expertise in Hospitality & Tourism.

Kingstown, August 29, 2025 — The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, in partnership with the Republic of Cuba, held on Thursday the closing ceremony of the Hospitality Technical Mission at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Diamond.

The event marked the successful conclusion of three weeks of practical training delivered by eight Cuban hospitality specialists to Vincentian teachers, instructors, and professionals in the sector.

Aug. 13, 2025, marks the 99th anniversary of the birth of Fidel Castro Ruz, the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, whose vision and political steadfastness shaped not only the destiny of Cuba but also left an indelible mark on the wider Caribbean.

Fidel Castro’s life was intertwined with the struggles and aspirations of small island states seeking sovereignty, dignity, and development in the face of global challenges.

Group of Cuban experts in Tourism arrived in SVG.

Kingstown, August 4, 2025 - As part of the strengthening of cooperation links between Cuba and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, a group of Cuban specialists arrived in this capital to start an important joint project in the area of tourism, as a result of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two countries in 2023.

The initiative envisages the presence, for one month, of a Cuban technical mission composed of eight experts in various areas of the tourism sector. Its main objective will be to support the capacity building programs of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines through workshops, technical exchanges and expert advice. Through this effort, experiences and good practices that have been key in the tourism development of Cuba will be shared.
