London, 24 June 2025 - The Cuban Embassy in the UK was honoured to host the annual Friends of Cuba reception organised by the Cuba Solidarity Campaign (CSC). The event brought together Members of Parliament, trade union leaders, legal professionals and longstanding friends of Cuba for an evening of reflection, engagement and renewed support for the island's struggle against injustice.
Liverpool, 18 June 2025 - The Cuban Embassy in the UK proudly participated in a powerful and well-attended side meeting entitled "Hands off Cuba!", held in parallel to the UNISON 2025 National Delegates Conference at ACC Liverpool. The meeting brought together trade union delegates and solidarity activists to demand an immediate end to the US economic blockade against Cuba and to reaffirm the strength of international solidarity with the Cuban people.

London, 13 June. The Cuban Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Ismara Vargas Walter, held a fruitful meeting with the Executive Director of the International Grains Council (IGC), Arnaud Petit, at the organisation's headquarters. The Cuban Embassy was also represented by Soima Méndez Lazo, the First Secretary for Economic and Commercial Affairs.
