Declaration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba
On January 14, 2025, the government of the United States announced the following decisions:
1. Remove Cuba from the State Department list of countries that allegedly sponsor terrorism;
2. Make use of the presidential faculty to prevent US courts from taking action with regards to lawsuits that might be filed by virtue of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act; and

The Political Bureau of the Lebanese Communist Party congratulates the leadership of the Cuban government and the Communist Party of Cuba for the decision signed by U.S. President Biden to remove Cuba from the list of countries allegedly sponsoring terrorism, after a political campaign and international popular solidarity of which our party was part.
Cuban Ambassador signs book of condolences at the Embassy of India in Lebanon
Ambassador Jorge P. Leon Cruz signed the book of condolences opened at the Embassy of India in Lebanon, in posthumous tribute to the death of former Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh, which occurred on December 26 in New Delhi, India.
