Cuba and India ratify commitment to the development of renewable energies.

The Cuban delegation of the renewable energy sector concluded its visit to India ratifying the commitment of both countries in the development of joint renewable energy projects. The director of renewable energies of the Unión Eléctrica, Ovel Concepción, together with specialists from the Ministry of Energy and Mines and the company Energoimport, held fruitful meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Renewable Energies of India, the Eximbank agency and companies and institutions of the sector.

Minister of State of the Indian Foreign Ministry attends tribute to José Martí.

The Embassy of Cuba in India, in collaboration with the "8one Foundation", held an activity in tribute to our National Hero José Martí, on the occasion of the 127th anniversary of his fall in combat. The event took place at the International Indian Center (IIC), one of the most important cultural spaces in the city, and was attended by Meenakashi Lekhi, Minister of State of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, who in her remarks had words of praise for the universal ideals of Martí in his struggle for independence and his commitment and duty to the Homeland.

Children in India are inspired by José Martí.

More than seven hundred children, between the ages of 7 to 12 years and coming from more than one hundred schools in different states of India, were inspired by José Martí to develop their creative capacity in poems, songs and dances, through their participation in a contest that paid tribute to the National Hero of Cuba, on the occasion of the 127th anniversary of his fall in combat. The contest was organized by the Cuban Embassy and the 8one Foundation, whose co-founder Ramit Singh Chimni is a member of the jury of the UNESCO International José Martí Prize.

Tribute to José Martí in public school in Delhi.

The first secretary in charge of consular affairs of the Cuban Embassy in India, Lourdes Aguilera León, and the third secretary Malena Rojas Medina, visited the José Martí public school located in New Delhi to pay tribute to the National Hero in front of his bust, on the occasion of the 127th anniversary of his fall in combat.
