Vientiane, January 9, 2026. The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the PCC, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, congratulated his Lao counterpart on the success of the 12th Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.

He also extended his sincere congratulations to Comrade Thongloun Sisoulith on his re-election as Secretary General of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, during the 12th Congress of that organization.

He expressed his pride in continuing to count on his close friendship and leadership.
