The solidarity association "Toronto Forum on Cuba" celebrated the 71st Anniversary of the Assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks. The activity was attended by members of the Consulate General of Cuba in Toronto, members of the Palestinian Youth Movement and groups in solidarity with Cuba and Palestine.

The activity included artistic presentations in support of the Cuban Revolution and the Palestinian people. The performance of saxophonist, musician and composer Wally Brooker was a highlight.

The emblematic Cuban film "Strawberry and Chocolate" was presented at the 27th edition of the Ottawa Latin American Film Festival, organized by the GRULA Embassies in Canada.

The screening was attended by the Cuban Ambassador to Canada, Rodrigo Malmierca, along with other members of the Latin American diplomatic corps in Ottawa, as well as Cuban film lovers in the Canadian capital.
