Secretary General of the Pan-Cypriot Organization of Workers welcomes the Ambassador of Cuba.
CYPRUS, June 8, 2017. - Pambis Kyritsis, general secretary of the Pan-Cyprus Workers 'Organization, received the Cuban ambassador Aramis Fuente Hernández at the headquarters of the workers' training in Nicosia this morning.
Cuban ambassador Elio Savón Oliva met on the morning of June 2 with the Honorable Priscah Mupfurira, Minister of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare of Zimbabwe.
GRULAC gathering organized by the Embassy of Cuba in Bangkok, with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. Emotive welcome to the new Ambassadors of Chile and Peru. It was recalled the 502 anniversary of the founding of Santiago de Cuba, (28/6/1515) and, by historical coincidence, the birth on the same day, 14/6, of Antonio Maceo and Ernesto Che Guevara (1845 and 1928 respectively). The Cuban Ambassador denounced the presence of the US military base in Guantanamo, as a consequence of the imposition of the Platt Amendment in June, 1901.
