Ambassador of Cuba accompanies the Communist Party of Norway in activities on the occasion of the International Workers´ Day
Oslo, May 2nd, 2025. In the morning hours of this May 1st, in the Nordre Gravlund cemetery, the Ambassador of Cuba, Maité Rivero Torres, took part in the traditional ceremony organized by the Communist Party of Norway (NKP) to pay homage to the militants that were executed and disappeared during the Nazi occupation between 1940 and 1945.
As in previous years, NKP seized the opportunity to pay also a memorial tribute to the Norwegian communist poet Rudolf Nilsen, who died in 1929.
