Promotion of Cuban Cigar in Australia
Canberra, March 9, 2024. As part of the activities of the 35th Anniversary of the Bilateral Relations between Cuba and Australia, an event was held in Canberra to promote Cuban Tobacco sponsored by the Cuban Embassy in that capital in conjunction with Pacific Cigar, the main marketing company of the Cuban product in the region.
During the event there was an exchange with different businessmen and members of the diplomatic corps about the tobacco trade in Cuba, as well as the promotion of different products related to the tobacco culture.
Ambassador of Cuba receives her Zambian counterpart
Canberra, March 8, 2024. The Ambassador of Cuba in this capital exchanged with the Ambassador of Zambia in Australia.
During the friendly meeting, they talked about the historical relations between both peoples, as well as about the firm position of that country against the Economic, Commercial and Financial Blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba.
The diplomats agreed on the potentials for strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
Vilma Espín's legacy remembered in Sydney on International Women's Day
Sydney, March 8, 2024. Members of the Cuba Solidarity Association in Sydney, NSW, remembered the legacy of Vilma Espín on International Women's Day. During the event, activist Yvonne Veivers recalled how much Vilma did for the emancipation and development of Cuban women.
She also condemned the Block against Cuba and its particular impact on the lives of Cuban women.
