Cuba present at the Multicultural Festival in Australia
Canberra, 18 February 2024. From 16 to 18 February 2024, the National Multicultural Festival 2024 took place in Canberra, where Latin American embassies had a Pavilion to exhibit their culture. The Cuban Embassy was present at this event.
The Festival is a three-day flagship event that brings together more than 170 multicultural communities to share their culture, history, and heritage through food, art, song, and dance.
Cuban Ambassador exchanges with CEO of the WA Chamber of Energy and Minerals
Canberra, February 12, 2024. The Cuban Ambassador to the southern country exchanged this afternoon with Rebeca Tokinson, CEO of the Chamber of Energy and Minerals of Western Australia.
The meeting was held as part of an exchange with Ambassadors from Latin America and was conducive to discuss the business opportunities in this sector in the Greater Antilles, as well as to inform those present of the various events planned for this year in the mining and energy sector, in the westernmost part of Australia.
The Ambassador and the Third Secretary exchanged with Adrian Medina, Director of Baseball5 in NSW, and a member of the Cuban community living in Australia
Canberra, 9 February 2024. The Cuban resident in Australia, Adrian Medina, exchanged with Ambassador Tanieris Diéguez and the Third Secretary in charge of Consular Affairs, Ivianes González.
The meeting took place at the Cuban Embassy in Australia as part of the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Cuban Baseball Federation and the New South Wales Baseball League.
