What has happened not only has a very negative impact on the bilateral relations between Mexico and Ecuador but also affects all countries in this region and the international community as a whole. 

The violation of international law and the undermining of the legitimate rights of a State are a grievance to all. 

Cuba condemned, in the strongest terms, the violent raid by the Ecuadorian police on the diplomatic headquarters of Mexico in Quito on April 5, considering it a flagrant violation of International Law, in particular the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, the right to asylum and the sovereignty of that nation.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla's statement was made at the Extraordinary Ministerial Meeting of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).

Cuba exhibits flagship products at the Vietnam International Trade Fair (Vietnam Expo 2024), which has the participation of some 480 companies from 16 countries and territories. The thirty-third edition of Vietnam Expo, the most important commercial exchange in Vietnam, was inaugurated by the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Nguyen Hong Dien, and will run until April 6th.

On Tuesday afternoon, took place the first coordination meeting for a future joint cooperation project between Saint Kitts and Nevis and Cuba, in the Construction sector. During the meeting, topics of common interest were reviewed, while were laid the foundations for the beginning of a project that will continue to strengthen and diversify the historical cooperative relations between these sister nations of the Caribbean
