Cuba successfully concludes its participation at World Travel Market London 2024

Cuba has successfully concluded its participation in the prestigious international tourism fair World Travel Market (WTM) London 2024, held from 5 to 7 November at the ExCeL London exhibition centre. This edition of the WTM, one of the most renowned in the sector worldwide, has allowed Cuba to consolidate its image as a tourist destination of excellence and strengthen its presence in the British and European markets.

London, November 7, 2024 - Cuba has successfully concluded its participation in the prestigious international tourism fair World Travel Market (WTM) London 2024, held from November 5 to 7 at the ExCeL London Exhibition Center. This edition of WTM, one of the most prestigious in the world, allowed Cuba to consolidate its image as a tourist destination of excellence and strengthen its presence in the British and European markets.

The Cooperation between Saint Kitts and Nevis and Cuba strengthens with the incorporation of the first UNECA S.A. brigade in the country.

This weekend, four professionals in the construction sector arrived in Basseterre and will form the first brigade of the Union of Companies CARIBE S.A (UNECA S.A.) in this Caribbean nation. Three civil engineers and an architect, are the cooperants who have just joined the Cuban state mission in the Federation. These, accompanied by the Ambassador of Cuba, David Rivero Pérez, were received by the Minister of Public Infrastructure, Konris Maynard, the Permanent Secretary of that ministry, Daryll Lloyd, as well as by other managers and officials of the Department of Public Works.

Within the framework of the activities for the working visit to Saint Kitts and Nevis of the senior official of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, Tamara Armenteros Alcee, the radio station Freedom FM dedicated a space on this Wednesday afternoon, to discuss the solidarity movement with Cuba that is rising in this Federation. It was an special occasion provided by Freedom FM so that the warm greetings from Cuba and gratitude for the historical accompaniment, reach each resident of St Kitts and Nevis, by the voice of Tamara Armenteros.

The Permanent Secretary of the Foreign Ministry of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Ms. Kaye Bass, offered a warm welcome to the official of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, Tamara Armenteros Alcee, who is on a working visit to the Federation, accompanied on this occasion by Ambassador David Rivero Pérez.

Both parties agreed on the excellent ties that unite these Caribbean nations in which cooperation and mutual support contribute to their continuous strengthening.
