DECLARATION BY THE ASSOCIATION OF CUBANS LIVING IN CYPRUS

On 15 May, the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a statement denouncing Cuba's unjust continued inclusion on the List of countries that sponsor terrorism.

It is important to highlight that, although Cuba continues to appear on this list, it does not appear in the report to Congress, sent by the Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, on the countries that "do not fully cooperate with US counter-terrorism efforts in the calendar year 2023".

Cultural Festival of Musical Traces, A city for everyone.

Outstanding participation of the staff of the Cuban Embassy in Cyprus in the Cultural Festival of Musical Traces A city for all, organised by the Movement "@Epilogi", which took place in the afternoon of Sunday 26th May. The Cuban stand presented typical Cuban dishes and mojitos and was one of the most visited of the afternoon.

Inauguration of Photo Exhibition on Cuba in Paphos

On the evening of 24 May, the former Paphos Power Plant, now converted into a cultural and art square, was the venue for the opening of an extraordinary exhibition of photographs of Cuba, captured through the lens of renowned photographer Andreas Constantinous. The event, which attracted hundreds of people living in Paphos, highlighted the beauty and diversity of the Caribbean island, and sparked great interest in travelling to Cuba.
