Nicosia, November 17, 2017. - The Member of the Secretariat of the National Workers' Central Union, in charge of international relations and deputy to the National Assembly of People's Power, Ismael Drullet Pérez, is participating in the 27th Congress of the Pan-Cypriot Federation of Labor, which is taking place in the capital of Cyprus, Nicosia, until November 18th.

Cyprus, October 6, 2017. On the afternoon of August 4, 2017 the Cyprus Defense Minister, Christoforos Fokaidis received the Cuban ambassador Aramis Fuente Hernandez on the occasion of the end of his mission on the island.
Minister Fokaidis thanked the Ambassador for his services and his contribution to the strengthening of relations between the two countries.

Cyprus October 4, 2017. Andros Kyprianou, General Secretary of the Progressive Workers' Party, AKEL, held a fraternal meeting with the Cuban Ambassador, Aramis Fuente Hernández, to whom he delivered a note on behalf of the Central Committee of the political organization in which he confirms a donation, of the amount of 2000 Euros, as a contribution to address the damages caused to the country and the Cuban people by the devastating Hurricane Irma.

In a fraternal message sent to Castro Castro Ruz, First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba, Andros Kyprianou, General Secretary of the AKEL Party, expressed the unreserved solidarity of the political organization and of the Cypriots with the people, the party and the government of Cuba, after the passage of Hurricane Irma.
