Tribute to José Martí in Egypt for 167 anniversary of his birth
The members of the Embassy of Cuba in Egypt paid tribute to the Cuban National Hero José Martí on the occasion of the 167th anniversary of his birth, with the placement of a wreath on his bust, which stands in the Al Horreya Park in Cairo.
In her speech, the Cuban Ambassador Tania Aguiar Fernández recognized the figure of Martí as the essence of Cuban nationality and the validity and importance of her Latin American political thought.
