Egypt's TAGAMMU Party condemns U.S. policy against Cuban medical missions

Cairo, April 18, 2025. The Egyptian Progressive National Unionist Unionist Party (TAGAMMU) declared its full solidarity with the Republic of Cuba in the face of the recent US practices against Cuban medical missions, which it described as a flagrant violation of international laws and conventions and a violation of working standards in international organizations.

TAGAMMU condemned the U.S. Secretary of State's decision to suspend visas for officials associated with international medical cooperation agreements for Cuba, saying this decision targets vital health services that benefit millions of people around the world.

Ambassador brings young Egyptians closer to Cuban culture

Cairo, April 16, 2025. The Cuban ambassador to Cairo, Alexander Pellicer, spoke today with Egyptian university professors and students, with whom he shared about the culture, history and traditions of the Caribbean nation.

Cuban Ambassador to Egypt signs book of condolences on death of former Malaysian Prime Minister

Cairo, April 17, 2025. The Cuban ambassador to Egypt, Alexander Pelllicer Moraga, signed this morning at the headquarters of the Embassy of Malaysia in this capital the book of condolences for the death of former Prime Minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

In his message, the Head of Mission of the largest of the Antilles conveyed the most heartfelt condolences to the Malaysian people and government on behalf of the Cuban people and government, which he extended to relatives and friends of the prominent politician.

Cuban Ambassador visits ACDIMA headquarters in Cairo

Cairo, April 13, 2025. The Cuban Ambassador to Egypt, Alexander Pellicer Moraga, visited this morning the headquarters of the Arab Company for Drugs and Medical Devices Industry (ACDIMA), where he had a fruitful meeting with its President Dr. Olfat Mostafa Ghorab.

The Cuban Head of Mission received an extensive explanation about the institution and its functions within the health system in Egypt. During the meeting, there was an exchange of views on the great potential for establishing cooperation mechanisms in the production and marketing of medicines, as well as the possibility of establishing technology transfer schemes for Cuban products such as Herberprot P.
