Cubans in Ethiopia meet to analyze the Constitution Draft
Addis Ababa, September 18, 2018. The members of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Addis Ababa meet to discuss the Draft of the new Constitution of the Republic of Cuba.
The meeting was led by H.E. Mrs. Vilma Thomas, Ambassador of Cuba. From the audience were received several proposals of amendments, changes and substitutions with the aim to enrich the text.
This process will continue during this week in the country.

XXXI African Union Summit
Nouakchott, July 2, 2018. The Cuban Ambassador and Permanent Observer to the African Union, H.E. Mr. Angel Villa travelled to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania on the occasion of XXXI Assembly of the Heads of State and Government of the African Union.
During his stay in Nouakchott, the diplomat held various meetings with delegations presents in the city on bilateral and multilateral isuues.
Ethiopian Sport Minister received a delegation from INDER
Addis Ababa, July 4, 2018. The Ethiopian Minister of Youth and Sport, H.E. Mr. Ristu Yirdaw accompanied by the State Minister H:E. Mrs. Habiba Siraj, receive a delegation of the Nacional Institute of Sport, Physical Education and Recreation of the Republic of Cuba at the conclusion of their working visit to Ethiopia.
During the meeting, both parties analyzed the potencial areas of cooperation, as well as the proposal to sign a bilateral Agreement. The exchanges between de different sport federations of both countries was also part of the agenda.
President of the Ethiopian Athletics Federation received a Cuban delegation
Addis Ababa. The President of the Athletics Federation of Ethiopia and world champion Haile Gebrselassie, received a delegation from the Institute of Sport, Phiysical Education and Recreation of Cuba leaded by Mrs. Elda Quiñones, Director for Inspection and Control of the above-mentioned Cuban institution.
Accompanied by the Cuban Ambassador to Ethioipia, H.E. Mrs. Vilma Thomas, both parties exchanged on the possibilities to establish cooperation in the field of athletics.
