FIHAV2023 trade fair in Havana is promoted in Finland

As part of the promotion of commercial activities in Cuba, the Ambassador Beatriz Parra González held a meeting with the representative of Bokira Group, Matti Ponkala. Cuban diplomat updated the info on the new economic actors in the Island and the portfolio of foreign investments. Both parts discussed issues regarding to the economic ties between Cuba and Finland. The Ambassador invited Mr. Ponkala to participate on the International Fair of Havana #FIHAV2023.

Cuba reiterates the will to deepen bilateral relations with Latvia

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, sent congratulations to the President of Latvia, Edgar Rinkēvičs, through the social network Twitter. The Cuban Foreign Minister expressed "I extend my most sincere congratulations to former Foreign Minister @edgarsrinkevics for his election as President of the Republic of Latvia." And it meant "We ratify the will of #Cuba to continue developing the ties of friendship and cooperation between both nations."

Cuba and Lithuania to strengthen commercial exchange

Cuban ambassador to Finland and in charge of its attendance to Lithuania, Beatriz Parra González, held a virtual dialogue with authorities from the Chamber of Commerce of this Baltic nation. The meeting aimed to identify areas of common interest for both countries. The dialogue took place in a cordial atmosphere and encouraged the discussion of topics of common interest.

Cuba thanks Vietnam from Helsinki for its historic and supportive accompaniment

The Ambassador of Cuba, H.E. Mrs. Beatriz Parra González, received in a courtesy meeting to H.E. Ms. Binh Pham, Vietnamese Ambassador to Finland. During a pleasant exchange, the Ambassadors addressed issues of interest to both countries, with close historical ties. The Cuban diplomat welcomed H.E. Binh and wished her much success, while she thanked Vietnam for its historic and supportive support for Cuba.

Visit that marks a milestone in the relations between Cuba and the European Union

An affectionate greeting, words marked by closeness and naturalness began this Friday afternoon, from the Palace of the Revolution, to the meeting that took place between the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, and Josep Borrell Fontelles, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and Vice President of the European Commission. Díaz-Canel Bermúdez told Josep Borrell that "visits like these, which have had an intense agenda, a broad program in various areas, allow us to get to know each other better." And he stressed that events like these contribute a lot to all the development that the implementation of the Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement has had, which since 2017 has been working very intensively.
