Prime Minister Dicken Mitchell, in welcoming Cuba’s President, Miguel Diaz-Canel to the shores of Grenada,reaffirmedthis country’s unwavering support and continued the call for the removal of the United States’ continued embargo against the Government and people of Cuba, and the removal of Cuba from the list of countries dubbed sponsors of state terrorism.

The world is grappling with all kinds of problems and they are becoming scarier and scarier.
Many of those problems are natural in origin. Catastrophic floods are seemingly becoming more commonplace and most areas of the world as being impacted. Similarly, droughts are devastating once flourishing farmlands and rendering theretofore reliable water bodies, little more than mudholes while volcanoes and earthquakes continue to wreak havoc.

Who is the Real Criminal?
While the world is preoccupied with the Russian invasion of Ukraine, most continue to turn a blind eye to a bigger crime against humanity that has been going on since 1959, the United States' economic blockade of Cuba.
While they are lamenting how brutal the Russian government is and the fact that the Ukraine invasion is illegal, they ignore that what the US is doing to Cuba is even more heinous because millions of people have been suffering through it for 60 years.
The Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs, Labor and Consumer Affairs receive the Cuban Ambassador.
St. George, August 30, 2022. The Cuban Ambassador, Luis Ernesto Morejón Rodríguez, was received this morning by the Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs, Labor and Consumer Affairs, Claudette Joseph.
At the headquarters of the Ministerial Complex, both discussed the current state of bilateral relations, as well as the mutual interest in continuing to develop and expand cooperation between the two nations.
The Cuban Ambassador holds a meeting with the Minister of Economic Development, Planning, Tourism, ICT, Creative Economy, Agriculture and Land, Fisheries and Cooperatives.

At the headquarters of the Ministerial Complex, both parties held a cordial meeting, in which they highlighted the historic ties of solidarity that unite the peoples and governments of Grenada and Cuba, as well as reaffirmed the will to work together to promote bilateral relations in areas of common interest.
