St. George, October 25. The Memorial to the 24 Cubans who fell during the United States invasion of Grenada stands, where our flag is raised with the same robustness and nobility as the fallen, had place a solemn act of tribute to the feat and memory of these brave men.

From Grenada, Cuba raises its voice of support for Venezuela.

St. George's, October 1. The Cuban State Mission in Grenada reaffirmed its support for the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela with the signing of the Declaration of the Cuban Revolutionary Government in the face of the dangerous US military threat.

In the presence of the Venezuelan Ambassador to the island, His Excellency Mr. Jorge Guerrero Veloz, the members of the Cuban State Mission held an event to reaffirm their support for Venezuela and denounce the escalating actions of the United States government to justify military aggression.

Grenada's Prime Minister Calls for an End to Sanctions on Cuba

Saint George, Sep 27 (Prensa Latina) Grenada's Prime Minister, Dickon Mitchell, criticized the U.S. blockade of Cuba today, arguing that it punishes the island and weakens global collaboration.

Addressing the United Nations plenary session, Mitchell called on the United States to eliminate the barriers that exclude Cuba from regional life and emphasized the importance of international solidarity for educational development.

Grenada and Cuba Strengthen Technical Cooperation in Heritage Conservation.

St. George's, September 10 – The Minister of Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy, the Honorable Adrian Thomas, received Cuban Ambassador Ivette Martínez in his office to discuss the results of the mission of Cuban heritage experts to Grenada. Between August 12 and 25, Mr. Jose Antonio González Rodríguez and architect Nilson Acosta Reyes, Cuban specialists from the Cuban National Heritage Council, visited Grenada in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministries of Culture of both countries.

Grenadian students receive nine scholarships awarded by Cuba.

St. George's, September 5, 2025. The ceremony to award the scholarships to nine Grenadian students took place at the Cuban Embassy in Grenada. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Elvis Morain, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education; Ms. Kizelle Gilbert, head of the Scholarship Department; Cuban Ambassador Ivette Martínez Leyva; Dr. Malachy Dottin, president of the Committee of Cuban Graduate Students; and other guests.
