The healthy relationship that our countries enjoy after five decades of diplomatic ties has been possible due to mutual respect for sovereignty, self-determination and non-interference in internal affairs, as well as the collaboration developed for the benefit of our peoples and governments.
This Sunday, October 27, once again from the Bahamas, voices of solidarity were raised condemning the economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba.
Nassau, October 22, 2024. The Bahamian health minister Dr. Michael Darville and the Cuban ambassador to this country Julio César González Marchante held a working meeting to assess the current collaboration both nations are developing.
During the friendly meeting, they highlighted the positive results of the present cooperation for both parties and the intention to expand it into new areas of interest for the respective peoples.
Nassau, October 17, 2024. The festival entitled “On the paths of Cubanness” took place today in Nassau, convened by the Department of Foreign Languages of the University of The Bahamas at the RBC Auditorium.
During the program, a panel was held on moments of Cuban history, literature and cultural traditions, while a sample of the island's tourist attractions was exhibited, presented by the Havanatur office in the Bahamas.

During a recent visit by the Minister of Agriculture, Marine Resources and Family Islands Affairs, Hon. Jomo Chaka Campbell to Palmdale Elementary School, he exchanged with a Cuban special education teacher.
The teacher conveyed the love of Cubans for their profession and the pride of collaborating with this beautiful country, as well as the commitment to work with all the dedication that children with special educational needs deserve.
