Promote in India participation in 41 FIHAV 2025 Edition

New Delhi, 01 September 2025- The Ambassador of Cuba to India, Juan Carlos Marsán, held two meetings with Mr. Shri Vimal Anad, Deputy Secretary for Latin America at the Ministry of Commerce, and Dr. Ajay Sahai, Director General and CEO of Federation of Indian Exports Organisations (FIEO) to promote the participation of Indian entrepreneurs in the forthcoming 41st edition of FIHAV 2025, to be held from 24-2429 November in Havana, Cuba.

Cuban Ambassador to India meets with executives of the Indian Economic Trade Organisation (IETO).

New Delhi, 31 August 2025 - The Cuban Ambassador to India, Juan Carlos Marsán accompanied by the Second Secretary Guadalupe Frometa, met with Indian Economic Trade Organisation (IETO) managers to explore possibilities of collaboration and business in different sectors such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and others.

The Cuban diplomat reiterated the invitation to the 41st edition of FIHAV 2025, which would be attended by a representation of Indian entrepreneurs from various sectors.

 

Rajasthan Business Forum, chance to promote economic and trade relations between Cuba and India

Jaipur, 29 August 2025-  The Ambassador of Cuba to India, Juan Carlos Marsán, participated with other colleagues from Brazil, Peru and Argentina in a panel on India’s relations with Latin America and the Caribbean held at the Rajasthan Business Forum. 

This event, organized by the prestigious news media Economic Times, brought together government figures, academics, researchers and entrepreneurs from that state of India to discuss opportunities for boosting economic relations abroad.

The Cuban Government strongly rejects the current deployment of United States military forces in the Caribbean Sea. This dangerous action represents a serious threat and an aggressive show of force against the sovereignty and self-determination of the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean. Furthermore, it ignores the commitment of the 33 Member States of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States when they proclaimed the region as a Zone of Peace.

Ambassador of Cuba to India visits Kiit and Kiss University in Odisha

26 August 2025, Odisha-  Ambassador of Cuba to India Juan Carlos Marsán and First Secretary Maiky Díaz Pérez paid a visit to KIIT and KISS University in the state of Odisha, responding to an invitation from their authorities. 
The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) is devoted to vocational studies and the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) comprises school, college and university. This is the first accredited tribal teaching institution in India, hosting some 80,000 students.
