Cuba participates in the 6th International Conference of the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) in New Delhi.
First Colonel Luis Ángel Macareño, second chief of the National General Staff of the Cuban Civil Defense, heads the delegation representing Cuba at the 6th International Conference of the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI), being held in New Delhi on April 24-25. He is accompanied by Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Abel Aballe Despaigne and Major Leonel Esteves Pérez.
Promotion of Cuba as a tourist destination in the Indian market.
The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in India, in collaboration with Meliá Hotels International, organized an interactive session to promote the Cuba destination in the Indian market. More than 40 representatives of travel agencies, national and international airlines, businessmen and print and digital media were present.

Paintings by renowned Cuban painters Amelia Pelaez and Rene Portocarrero represented Cuba at the Collage Art Carnival AAMANTRANA 2024, at the gallery of the National Academy of Art of India, Lalit Kala Akademi. The exhibition was organized by the Delhi College of Art and included works by renowned Indian artists and students, as well as a sample of foreign artists.
Bangladesh reaffirms its solidarity with Cuba.
The Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) and the Bangladesh Youth Union (BJU), members of the National Movement of Solidarity with Cuba in that country, sent statements of solidarity with the Cuban people, as a result of the recent external pressures and attempts to distort the Cuban reality and discredit the Revolution and its leaders.
