The Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejects, in the strongest terms, the Executive Order issued by the White House on May 1, 2026, which intensifies, to extreme and unprecedented levels, the economic, financial and commercial blockade against Cuba.

Havana, 5 May 2026.- The Government of the Republic of Cuba announced the official publication of the new laws on migration, aliens and citizenship, together with their respective regulations, as part of the process of comprehensive updating of the country’s legal system.

Cuba and the world reaffirm active solidarity against the blockade at an international meeting in Havana

Havana, 2 May 2026.- With the still-latent strength of the mass celebrations for May Day, Cuba hosted this Saturday the International Solidarity Meeting "For a world without blockade: active solidarity in the centenary of Fidel", which brought together more than 800 delegates from dozens of countries in the Palace of Conventions, in a strong expression of support for the Cuban Revolution.
