Cuba denounces before the Human Rights Council the threat of U.S. military aggression and the blockade as an act of war
Geneva, 1 June 2026. – In the framework of the organizational meeting of the 62nd regular session of the Human Rights Council, Cuba warned of the growing threat of military aggression by the United States government, which would constitute a flagrant violation of the UN Charter, International Law and the human rights of the Cuban people.
Cuba, the GAE and the United States: anatomy of a state slander
The GAE is not an opaque structure, nor parallel to the Cuban State; on the contrary, it has been an articulated response of proven efficiency against the economic blockade that has historically tried to suffocate the Cuban Revolution.
