As part of his working visit to Nepal, the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of Cuba in Nepal, resident in India, Abel Aballe Despaigne, visited the municipality of Bhaktapur, located in the Kathmandu Valley, where he was received by the local leader and chairman of the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP), Narayan Man Bijukchhe (Rohit), and other local authorities.

The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of Cuba in Nepal, resident in India, Abel Aballe Despaigne, paid an official visit to Kathmandu, where he was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Arzu Rana Deuba.
During the cordial meeting, they highlighted the historic relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, which will reach their 50th anniversary on March 25, 2025, as well as the common interest in strengthening and diversifying ties.

The List of States Allegedly Sponsoring Terrorism goes against the fundamental principles and peremptory norms of international law, including international solidarity. The process through which the designation is made is unclear and non-transparent.
Cuba appreciates the donation of 80 tons of active pharmaceutical ingredients from India.
A ceremony was held in Cuba to welcome the donation sent by the Government of India of 80 tons of active pharmaceutical ingredients, worth 10 million EUR, which will be used for the production of oral and injectable antibiotics for hospital and community use in our country. This contribution reaffirms the close ties of friendship, solidarity and cooperation between the peoples of Cuba and India, maintained for more than 60 years.
