Cuban Ambassador signed a condolence book in Malaysian embassy

Vientiane, April 20, 2025. The Cuban Ambassador to the Malaysian Embassy in Vientiane, signed the book of condolences on the passing away of His Excellency Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the fifth Prime Minister of that Asian country, who promoted bilateral relations with the island.

The Cuban diplomat conveyed messages of sympathy and solidarity to her Malaysian counterpart, His Excellency Edi Trwan Bin Mahmud, as well as to his State, people, family, and friends, of the late  for such a regrettable loss.

The 64 anniversary of Playa Giron victory was celebrated in Laos

Vientiane, April 19, 2025. The Cuban Embassy in the Lao People's Democratic Republic commemorated, together with members of the Friendship Association and their families, the 64th anniversary of the Bay of Pigs Victory and the proclamation of the socialist character of the Cuban Revolution. Cuban Ambassador Enna Viant reviewed the momentous event, which constituted the first major defeat of the Yankee invader on the Cuban sands of Playa Larga in less than 72 hours. The Bay of Pigs, the diplomat stated, was not only a military victory but also a strategic one.

Impact of the Cuban Medical cooperation
