Vientiane May 16, 2025. Cuban Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Laos, Ms. Enna Viant Valdés, and her delegation was received by Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, Mr. Manothong Vongxay, to discuss the advancement of bilateral economic and commercial cooperation.
Massive support from the Cuban people and friends on May 1st
Vientiane, May 2, 2025. The May 1st parade across Cuba was overwhelmingly supported, with the participation of more than 5.3 million Cubans, of whom more than 600,000 were in the province of Havana. Cuba is not alone in its fight against the blockade and the construction of a dignified and committed society, as demonstrated by the friends from more than 75 countries who attended the event and later participated in the international meeting of solidarity with the island.

Laos celebrates the workers day
Vientiane 1st May 2025. Government officials, representatives of international organisations, and Vientiane residents turned out at Patouxay Independence monument in Vientiane on May 1st to join a community walk to celebrate the 139th anniversary of the International Labour Day (May Day),
