Remove Cuba from Terrorism List, Nigerian Movement Demands of the US
Abuja, May 30, 2024.- Declaration of the Cuban Solidity Movement in Nigeria in response to the presence of Cuba on the unilateral list of countries that supposedly sponsor terrorism.
The Nigeria Movement of Solidarity With Cuba is asserting itself, insisting on its own conditionalities for the United States authorities and conveying same in its own vocabulary.
Visit to the Abuja Chamber of Commerce
Abuja, March 13, 2024.- Miriam Morales Palmero, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Nigeria, held a productive meeting with Mr. Emeka Obegolu, who was sworn in as the 12th President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce (ACCI), last February 8.
During the meeting, the main pending issues between Havana and Abuja were addressed with the aim of implementing an action plan to promote exchange between both countries. Likewise, the common interests shared by the Abuja Chamber of Commerce with its counterpart in Cuba were discussed.
Saint Patrick's Day in Nigeria
Abuja, March 13, 2024.- The Cuban ambassador to Nigeria, Miriam Morales Palmero participated this afternoon in the celebration of Saint Patrick's Day, which took place at the headquarters of the Irish Embassy.
Saint Patrick, who lived during the fifth century, is the patron saint of Ireland and its national apostle. Born in Roman Britain, he was kidnapped and brought to Ireland as a slave at 16. He later escaped, but returned to Ireland and was credited with bringing Christianity to its people.
