Kingston, Jamaica, 9 January 2020. Leaders of the Solidarity Movement with Cuba in Jamaica reiterated their support to the Greatest Island in the Antilles, during a meeting with the Cuban Ambassador to this sister Caribbean nation, H.E Mrs. Inés Fors Fernández.

The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Hun Sen, sent a congratulatory message to his Cuban counterpart, Manuel Marrero Cruz, message to Manuel Marrero who took office as Cuba's prime minister. Cambodian Premier described the relations of friendship, cooperation, mutual assistance and support between Cuba and his country as unbreakable, even in the most difficult moments.

We received a friendly visit from the Vice-President of the African Union Commission, Mr. Kwesi Quartey, a dear friend of Cuba, at the Cuban embassy in Ghana.

Mexico City, January 9, 2020. With a tweet from Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel to the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) Summit in Mexico City, Cuba offered its best wishes for a period of hope and unity in diversity.

The Prime Minister of Jamaica, the Honorable Andrew Holness, extended congratulations to Cuba, on behalf of the Jamaican people and government, on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution. The Jamaican premier also recalled in his message that the collaboration between the two countries has fostered a mutually beneficial and constructive relationship over the years.

Islamabad, January 8, 2021. The President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, received today the ambassador of Cuba, Gabriel Tiel Capote, on a farewell visit, at the end of his five-year mission in Pakistan. During the meeting, they reviewed the excellent state of bilateral relations between the two countries. The President Alvi said that Pakistan attaches the utmost importance to its ties with Cuba and wishes to continue enhancing bilateral cooperation in the areas of trade, economy, health and culture for mutual benefit.

Havana, January 7 (RHC)-- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez conveyed his condolences to the people and government of Australia where forest fires have killed more than 20 people and caused severe damage to wildlife and infrastructure.

"Heartfelt condolences to the people and government of for the loss of human lives, wildlife and material damages caused by forest fires in that country, which I make extensive to the victims and their relatives,"  he wrote on Twitter.

New York, 8 January 2020. Ambassador Ana Silvia Rodríguez Abascal, Deputy Permanent Representative, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Permanent Mission of Cuba to the United Nations, signed today the book of condolences at the Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the UN, for the assassination of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani. The senior Iranian official was killed last 2 January, in a U.S. bombing of the International Airport of Baghdad, Iraq.
